I'm looking at my baseboard heat covers, and they all look pretty worn and outdated. I'm considering replacing them throughout the house, but noticed that even the most basic 8-foot cover costs about $100 with the end caps. Do you think it's better to just clean them up, or should I bite the bullet and buy all new ones?

I had no idea you could replace just the end caps! But from what I know, they might not all be standard sizes. As for the price, $100 might mean something different to each person, so think about your budget. Replacing the whole thing for that price is doable, but if you can make your old ones look good with just some cleaning and paint, that might be a better route.
