Looking for DIY Tool Recommendations for Home Repairs

Hey everyone! I'm pretty new to using DeWalt tools since I switched over from Ryobi last year during a sale. Right now, I have a DCF840, DCD793, and just picked up a DCS354 thanks to another sale where I also snagged a free 6AH battery! I'm curious if anyone has any tool recommendations for DIY home repairs and projects. For context, I'm considering getting a DCS571B as my next tool. Any thoughts?

The DCS571B you're thinking about is really solid! If you’re mostly doing basic home projects, a good jigsaw would be a versatile tool to have. If your projects are more robust, maybe consider the FlexVolt or XR skill saw as they pack a bit more power.

Yeah, that DCS571 can really make small cuts a breeze. A 6-1/2" circular saw is also a good pick for larger tasks. I love keeping a compact sawzall around too; they're incredibly useful! DeWalt has a fantastic range to choose from.

Don't forget about the basics! A jig saw, circular saw, reciprocating saw, impact wrench, and a grinder can all be super handy depending on what you’re working on. Don't underestimate the value of work lights too — they're great for visibility in dim spaces!
