I've been seeing a huge number of green flies in my area lately, and it's wild! I've never encountered anything like this before—what's going on? Anyone else experiencing this?

Yeah, I'm in York, and I’ve noticed the same thing! They seem to be everywhere. Really weird to see them in such huge swarms.
I'm also in West Yorkshire and it's quite the sight. Never seen anything like it either; my garden is full of them!
I got a mouthful while cycling in Cambridge! It’s pretty annoying, right? I’ve never had this happen before and just hoping it’s not a new problem for the area.
