Hey everyone! I just bought a spathiphyllum and a fuchsia for my room, but I'm going to be gone for a month or two starting in July. Since I'm new to plant care, I'm worried about how to keep them watered while I'm away. I do have a balcony for light, but in the summer, it gets really hot, and I can't solely rely on the rain. What are some good solutions or tips you have for keeping my plants alive during my absence? Thanks in advance!

If you can, just get a friend or neighbor to check on them weekly. Or, if you're really worried, consider giving them away temporarily to someone who can care for them. It's a tough call, but either option beats returning to dead plants!
Honestly, leaving plants alone for two months can be risky. A large self-watering setup might work, but it could still be a long stretch for them without care. If possible, try to arrange for someone to water them while you're away. That way, they’ll get personal attention!
