I'm looking to attract wildlife to my garden and cover up an unused patch of land, so I decided to plant a holly tree. However, I just found out that I should have planted it last month according to some gardening advice I found. Can I still plant it now, or will that cause issues like slower growth or problems with the roots?

Oh, I totally get you! I have some that have self-seeded, and they're massive now. I had to do some serious pruning! Just be sure to check for smaller varieties if you want something more manageable.
