I've been dealing with a persistent fungus gnat problem for months. I've tried using mosquito dunks several times and have been using sticky traps for over six months. Recently, I decided to give nematodes a shot and applied them a little over a week ago. I followed the instructions to water the plants lightly for three days after applying the nematodes, but I'm still seeing gnats. Is this too soon to expect results? How can I tell if the nematodes are actually working? I'm really frustrated with these gnats!

Since nematodes only target the larvae, it’s normal if you still see some adult gnats buzzing around. You should keep using nematodes for the larvae while relying on sticky traps to catch the adults.
Are you still using mosquito bits? Those contain bacteria that can harm nematodes. Make sure it's been a while since you last watered with them. Also, if you could share which type of nematodes you bought, it’d help—some aren’t effective against gnats at all!
Forget the dunks and use mosquito bits instead! Soak them in water and then use that water to hydrate your plants as directed. You really need to stick to the method on the bag.

That's incorrect! The bacteria in mosquito bits only targets specific flies, so it shouldn't affect nematodes.
