I'm near Philadelphia and have a large backyard with several dirt patches caused by my dog over the winter. A week ago, I seeded those spots and did a bit of overseeding with tall fescue, hoping for rain that we did get, although not as much as I'd hoped. Now, there's a forecast for six days of rain ahead, and I'm wondering if I should overseed again before it starts, despite the fact that I just seeded last week. I've read that typically you shouldn't seed so soon, but since my previous seeding only got watered once, I'm unsure. What do you all think? Should I go for it and overseed again or just leave it as is?
