Hey everyone! I'm new to gardening and could really use some advice on watering my uniquely shaped lawn. I'm thinking about splitting the area into two parts and watering them separately for better coverage. Right now, the watering device I'm using sprays water in a way that it hits my lilac plants, causing some spots on the lawn to miss out on water. I'm willing to consider laying a hose underground if that would help. The soil is sandy, and it gets about 2-3 hours of direct sunlight daily. Any tips on what kind of watering device might work best for this size of lawn? I can't upload photos, but I can describe the layout: it's approximately 7m by 4m with sections that are 2.3m and 1.7m across. Thanks in advance!

If your lawn is already established, you might not need to water it much at all. Even if it turns yellow during a dry spell, it usually bounces back as soon as it rains. So, watering might not be as necessary as you think, and it can waste a lot of water!
Focusing on getting your lawn to grow deep roots can really minimize the need to water. If you do it right, those roots will find moisture deeper in the soil and you won't have to worry about watering so often.
