Hey everyone! I have a ton of seedlings, mainly veggies and tomatoes, in my greenhouse. I'm wondering if it's safe to plant them outside now. I live in Stevenage, so what do you all think about the weather conditions?

I’m in North Yorkshire and have already put a bunch of veggies in my raised beds. Guess I'll find out soon if that was a smart move or not!
Make sure to check your last frost date online and plan to plant after that. Down south where you are living, it should be much earlier than here in the north. In the Midlands, mine is typically between May 1st and May 10th, so I might plant out next weekend.
I just put my tomatoes out today for hardening off, but I’ll use a plastic cloche on colder nights to keep them cozy. I’ve also sown lettuce and radishes under cover. This is my first year with a greenhouse, so I’m still figuring everything out!
I wouldn't risk planting your tomatoes just yet. It's a good idea to harden them off first. If you have some fleece or newspaper, keep it handy for any surprise frosts over the next couple of weeks. But honestly, I think you're probably safe since the soil is warming up nicely now.
I’ll hold off on the tomatoes then! I’ve got hay around, so I can use that for cover. I’m eager to plant out chard, broccoli, beans, peas, cucumbers, squash, and courgettes.
