Is It Too Late to Plant Chilli Seeds This Year?

Hey everyone! I'm wondering if it's too late to plant chilli seeds. I'm really looking forward to growing some this summer, but I have a feeling I might have missed the optimal planting time. Any thoughts?

Honestly, it really depends on the weather! If you don’t plant, you’ll never know. You could always give it a shot now and hope for a warm, extended summer. Fingers crossed!

You're about two months past the ideal planting time for chillis, and they really prefer a longer summer. It might be best to grab some plants instead, maybe check with friends who might have extra seedlings. If only you were closer, I’ve got 30 dwarf chillis waiting for homes!

Haha, where are you located? I'd love to take some off your hands!

I'm usually sowing my chillis back in February, so I think if you start now, you might be disappointed. It could be better to just buy some plants at this point instead of waiting for seeds to sprout.
