I recently had subway tiles installed in my shower by a local company that seemed reputable, but now I'm having doubts about the quality of their work. I'm wondering if you all could take a look at these pictures and let me know how it looks. Are the tiles flat enough, or are there too many humps and valleys on the surface?

I’m guessing those tiles aren't supposed to be 3D or anything, right? Because it sure looks like some rough work here. That's not what you expect from a pro installation!
Honestly, if the walls look that wavy, there's probably something wrong with the base underneath. I wouldn't trust that shower at all! It's likely that you’ll encounter some major issues with water getting under the floor tiles if that's the condition of the install.
Honestly, that's not professional quality at all. If I had a DIY job that looked like that, I'd be pretty upset. It shouldn't be that hard to get subway tiles looking flat!

Right? I've seen enough tile jobs to know that if the pan isn't right, you're in for a world of hurt. Better to fix it now than to wait for problems to start!
