Hey everyone! I'm thinking about diving into aeroponic cloning, specifically for propagating plants like camellias, azaleas, and Japanese maples. I've tried using a sand and perlite mix as a rooting medium, but I'm looking for something that has a better success rate and is easier to manage. I'd love to hear any experiences or advice you might have!

It sounds like you might need to tweak your process a bit! Sometimes the issue isn’t just the system but how you’re using it. Can you share your current steps for cloning? It might help us help you better!
Sure! So far, I've been using a sand and perlite mix in plastic pots. I spray copper fungicide in the pots and on the cuttings, then dip the stems in rooting hormone. I water them every few days and cover some pots with the cut bottoms of water bottles to keep humidity in. I've had some success with camellias and rosemary like that, and I’m seeing new leaves on a mulberry cutting and some buds on a Japanese maple!
