Hey everyone! We're currently using wire pallet racking to air dry our products, but I'm looking to add a shelf at the very bottom of the rack to catch any moisture or grease that might drip down from the upper racks. I'm considering a shelf made of plastic sheeting (around 2 feet wide and 8 feet long) for this purpose. Does anyone have suggestions for affordable, moisture-resistant materials that are easy to clean? I appreciate any tips you can share! Thanks!

Have you thought about using a heavy-duty plastic or vinyl board? They’re super easy to clean, durable, and perfect for catching moisture. Just make sure to check the thickness so it can handle the weight well. A lot of folks have had good experiences with products specifically made for shelving in moist environments.
I get where you're coming from with the moisture issue! A solid plastic shelf could definitely do the trick. Look for something that’s rated for industrial use; those are usually designed to withstand a lot of wear and tear. Also, make sure it’s smooth so you can wipe it down easily.
