Last summer, I specifically requested a double pink weeping cherry for my garden, and it's noted in the quote we agreed on. However, when the planting was done in July, I didn't realize until this spring that they actually planted a Snow Fountain weeping cherry instead. They also mismatched new boxwoods with what I already had and replaced my requested golden spirea with a darker variety. I'm pretty frustrated but unsure if I should reach out to them to sort this out or just accept it. Has anyone experienced this, and what should I do?

I’d definitely be upset too! If you asked for a double pink cherry and got something else, that’s a big deal. Let them know and give them a chance to fix it, but definitely ask them to keep the tags on the replacements so you can verify what you’re getting.
It's really up to you, but I’ve dealt with mislabeled plants in the past, and it’s frustrating. I think you should still contact the landscaper about the issues. They might have rushed and overlooked the specifics. If you can live with the changes, that’s also an option, but given the amount of mismatches, I’d reach out to discuss!
Absolutely, you should reach out to them! You made it clear what you wanted, and it’s on the quote. They need to fix this—either by providing the correct plants or offering a refund for the mistake.
