I'm trying to find some pictures showing a 50/50 mix of weathered oak and provincial stain. Alternatively, any examples of weathered oak combined with early American stain would be great too! If anyone has these, could you share your photos?

It really depends on several factors like the type of wood, its grain, and moisture levels. A good approach would be to get a couple of small jars with the stain options and mix them yourself in different ratios. Using a kitchen scale can help you weigh them out accurately! Try experimenting a bit until you find the perfect blend.

I actually tested it with a scale, but the color didn’t turn out as I expected—nothing seems right. Maybe I didn’t sand the board enough?
