I've been dealing with a daily battle against fungus gnats, and I'm really anxious about this infestation getting worse. I've read that mosquito bits are a great solution, but unfortunately, I can't find them online in Canada and I can't visit a store due to my current situation. I've also heard about neem oil — do you think it's effective enough? I'd love to hear your experiences. What methods have worked for you in eliminating fungus gnats? How long did it take, and what was effective or ineffective?

I've had success with a mix of 6% hydrogen peroxide in my watering. I vacuum them up regularly, using the vacuum after banging the pots, which quickly reduces their numbers! The peroxide treatment then really helps take care of the rest.
Soaking mosquito bits in water and then using that water for your plants can give you quick results. If you stick to this method regularly, you should see a significant drop in the gnat population. Just be careful to keep at it, consistency is key!

A solid approach is using yellow sticky traps to catch the adult gnats while pairing that with mosquito bits or nematodes to handle the larvae. I personally rely on systemic pesticides like Bonide along with the sticky traps, and it has worked well for me. Continuous monitoring helps a lot too!
