How can I fix a leaking gutter connection during heavy rain?

Hey everyone, I'm dealing with a frustrating issue where water leaks out of the gutter connection during heavy rain, which is causing some flooding in my crawlspace. The connection is fairly horizontal, and it looks like the water leaks from the bottom. I'm wondering what's the best solution for this. Should I cut off the bottom of the gutter and connect it more vertically? By the way, what tools or equipment should I use to cut a gutter? Any suggestions would be really appreciated!

I recommend changing that connection to a hard-piped one instead of using an accordion piece. It's better to extend it a little higher and increase the angle to improve drainage flow.

Can you share a link or some kind of visual? I’m not exactly sure what you mean.

Thanks for the suggestion! Do you have any specific products in mind?

Just to clarify, where does that black corrugated pipe lead? Is it part of a French drain system?

It actually connects to another downspout and then goes towards the driveway, which is downhill and away from the house.
