Is the Milwaukee 12.0Ah Battery Worth It for the M18 Top Off and Gaming Laptop?

I recently purchased the M18 Top Off to charge my 18650 batteries and tablet while working. Currently, I'm using the 8.0Ah battery, but I'm considering whether upgrading to the 12.0Ah is worth it, especially for charging my gaming laptop. I've read that the 12.0Ah has around 400 watt-hours, but I want to confirm if that's accurate and if it's a reliable battery overall. Any insights?

You might want to check the Milwaukee site for detailed specs on the Forge HD12.0; they usually have all the information you need there. As for charging, I'm not sure about 400 watt-hours, but that's worth investigating!

Yeah, I found out that the 400 W hours are actually a bit misleading if you're calculating based on mAh. I did the math, and it seems more like just over 200 for actual usable power.

I have the HD12 and it is a bit bulky, but if you aren't moving it around much, it could be a solid choice. I use two HD9 batteries since they fit my needs better. When it comes to gaming laptops, remember they consume a lot of power if you're using 120V. Better to have a few extra batteries on hand rather than relying solely on one. The 12.0Ah should give you about an hour and 15 minutes under load, but charging via USB-C might save some juice!

I got around 48 watt-hours when testing. That's about two hours of gaming usage, but I usually only charge for an hour while gaming just to balance it out.
