I'm currently using a basic Drayton thermostat which operates with a single 240V cable. It seems to manage temperature through a traditional bimetallic strip. I'm looking to upgrade to a smart thermostat but I'm confused about my options. Is there a smart thermostat that can either run on battery power and switch 240V, or perhaps recharge while connected to 240V when it's active? If such a smart thermostat exists, what should I be searching for?

Check out Mysa smart thermostats! They are specifically designed to switch 240V, which should work perfectly for your setup.

Awesome, do you know if they need a steady power feed?
