Hey everyone! I'm relatively new to keeping plants, and I'm curious about how people manage to have plants in low-light areas like bathrooms and kitchens. Do really keen plant owners keep all their lights on all the time? I worry that my plants will die if they're not placed right next to a window. I've been at this for about six months and want to make sure I'm doing it right!

For low-light situations, you want plants that thrive in less than ideal conditions—kind of like weeds! Pothos and ivy are excellent choices, especially the darker green varieties since lighter ones tend to lose their color without enough light. They’ll grow slower, but they’ll survive!
Just to clarify, are you saying that darker leaves are better in low light? Most of my plants are a bit on the darker side!
