I'm trying to decide between the M18 Fuel Quiklok and the Dual Battery trimmers. The Quiklok model comes with a free tool attachment for $300, but I've heard the battery life isn't great, and the 12ah batteries are quite pricey. Since I've always used M12 tools, I only have one 8ah battery as backup for now. On the other hand, the Dual Battery trimmer has better battery life and more power, it's on clearance for $350, and it comes with two HO 8.0 batteries and a rapid dual charger, but it doesn't support the Quiklok attachments. I'm primarily interested in getting the edger and possibly the pole saw attachment, but I wonder if they're worth it. I'd love some personal experiences and thoughts, especially from anyone who has used both options!
