Hey everyone! I'm looking for some real-world reviews on caulking guns. Have any of you used them, and what do you think? I'm particularly interested in how they perform during various tasks, like adhesives or recaulking. Any insights would be appreciated!

I've been using my caulking gun for a while now, and I really love it! The difference is night and day compared to the old-style guns I used before. While it might be a bit of a splurge for some, the smooth application makes it worth it. I did struggle a bit with tube size, though; if you cut the hole correctly, it flows nicely without wasting material, but I got blisters with the old one when forced to use it. Just be careful with how you cut the hole!
I just picked up a caulking gun and I'm excited to try it out for recaulking my driveway! I bought both versions since my hands usually lock up after a couple of tubes. I'm hoping this will change the game for me! I'll keep everyone updated once I get my hands on it and give it a go!
I found it works brilliantly, especially for bigger projects like applying subfloor adhesive where you need a lot of material quickly, but I wouldn't use it for trim work unless you're super experienced. Also, about those Gripfill tubes, they tend to be a bit odd-shaped; you might want to check them in-store to ensure they'll fit.

Sounds great! Does it handle Gripfill tubes okay?
