Hey everyone! We recently had to take down a massive pine tree, but our arborist couldn't grind down the stump due to some nearby utilities. So, we decided to keep the bottom 13 feet of the stump. Now, I'm looking for some fun and creative ideas on how to make use of it instead of just leaving it as a plain old stump. Any suggestions? Maybe something like chainsaw carving, a climbing wall, or bird feeders? Would love to hear your thoughts!

I saw someone in my city turn their stump into an awesome statue—probably some animal, made with chainsaw carving! It looked a bit rough but had character. I would suggest carving yours too and maybe including some holes for birds to nest in.
How about turning it into a wildlife skyscraper? You can carve out niches for animals to use as burrows and create a winding walkway up the trunk with different ‘shops’. You could even plant climbing plants around it or use mushroom plugs to make it more appealing. Don't forget to share updates if you go for it!
You’ve got a fantastic opportunity here! That stump can actually serve as a vital wildlife habitat, known as a snag. It provides shelter and food for various birds and insects, so it’s more useful than it seems!
So is it really 13 feet tall? I'm a bit confused because it seems like it might actually be only 1 foot! Either way, if it is 1 foot, you could just use it as a table for drinks. What’s the real height? That’s what I’m curious about!
