I'm currently renting an older building where the bathroom has zero outlets, and I can't run an extension cord because it's a rental. I just need something to plug in my wall devices and candle warmers. I've thought about light fixtures with built-in sockets, but those would only work when the light is on. Battery-powered or USB chargeable sockets seem ideal, but I guess they're not available for good reasons! I'm reaching out to see if anyone else has faced this issue and what you did to solve it.

If you're mainly using USB devices, a good option is to grab a power bank! It’s a simple solution that gives you some portability, too. Just charge it up and you’re good to go.
Have you thought about modifying your light switch into a GFCI combo switch-outlet? There's a video tutorial that walks you through it. However, if you only need it for things like scented plugins, maybe just stick to traditional wicks and oils—less hassle!
You could talk to your landlord about hiring an electrician to install an outlet. They might be open to the idea if you’re footing the bill. Just make sure whatever you suggest is safe, especially in a bathroom!
