I'm in a bit of a debate with my partner about whether we can fit both a greenhouse and a garden room in our garden, or if I need to choose one. Our garden measures 970cm x 970cm, but we've already got a patio that's about 3 meters deep, which eats up a sizable part of the space. I want to create some privacy with trees and shrubs while also including a garden room in the top left corner, just enough for a small sofa. I also envision a circular seating area for a fire pit on the right side of the garden. To separate that area from the patio, I'm thinking about placing a smaller greenhouse closer to the patio. Is it really possible to have both without losing too much of our garden? My partner fears we won't have space left for anything meaningful besides grass. I want areas to enjoy the garden, not just grass alone.

Honestly, it sounds like squeezing both into your garden could be tight. With the patio taking up a big chunk, I think you might need to compromise. Maybe consider if one of them could be scaled down or if there's a way to combine functions? Would it be possible to turn part of the greenhouse area into a mini sitting space?
