Hey everyone! I've been struggling with stinging nettles in one area of my garden and I've considered planting mint there instead. I really want to avoid constantly pulling out nettles, but I also want to leave some for caterpillars in another part of my garden where they're stable. So, if I decide to plant mint in this 'Nettles Battle Zone', is it something I should think twice about? Will I end up regretting it, and what about my neighbors? Just trying to do some research before making a potentially poor choice!

You're definitely going to regret it if mint takes off where you plant it! It's pretty invasive, and if it thrives, you'll end up with way more mint than you bargained for. I've had a similar experience, and trust me, it can become a hassle to manage! You might want to stick to controlling those nettles instead.
I planted mint once, and yeah, it spreads quite a lot, but honestly, I don't mind it too much. At least it smells nice, right? ? Just be ready to keep an eye on it, as it can get out of hand pretty quickly.
