I had a home inspector check my house, and he noted that two vents in the attic aren't connected properly. One vent is supposed to be for the bathroom fan, and the other is mentioned alongside a stove/microwave vent (although we don't actually use one). The problem is that the bathroom fan is located on the opposite side of the attic entrance, and I'm trying to figure out the best way to handle this. Should I crawl into the 4.5 ft attic space to make the connections, or would it be better to enter from the bathroom and remove a larger section of the ceiling?

You definitely want to avoid having those vents exhaust into the attic. Both the stove and bathroom fan should vent outside. Follow the ducting from the fan to see why it’s not linked with the roof vents. Just remember to step only on the ceiling joists, as the drywall won’t support your weight!
I had the same issue in my old house. It was tough to reach, but I managed to connect a 4" flexible duct from my fan to the roof vent. You can do it!
If that bathroom vent isn't ducted outside, you’ll definitely need to access the attic. Get an insulated duct and attach it from the fan to the roof vent. Just to clarify, do you have an exhaust hood for your kitchen range, or is it just a standard stove?
Not really, there’s a stove but we just use the cabinet space above for storage instead of a microwave.
