I'm looking to get a miter saw stand and I've seen the Dewalt stands being recommended a lot. I'm curious if the Dewalt miter saw stand is really worth the extra cost when compared to more universal options. Has anyone had experience with both?

I own the DWX723 stand for my DWS780 and I'd definitely buy it again! It's super sturdy and really enhances my setup. I love how easily it folds up and locks for transport. Pro tip: if you're looking to save some cash, check for package deals where the stand comes free with the saw purchase! That's how I got mine.
Appreciate the info! I did see that Home Depot has a bundle for the DWS716 with the DWX725B, but it's actually pricier together than buying them separately, which is a little silly. Do you think the DWX725B is worth it compared to the DWX726, which they recommend? I noticed the DWX723 seems to be more affordable and better suited for my needs. Thanks for the insight!
