Hey everyone! I'm looking for the most effective way to eliminate all the weeds in my yard. It's a disaster out there with dozens of different types of weeds taking over a section I'd like to refresh. I've heard of products like Roundup and some others at Home Depot, but I'm hoping for something more potent that really does the job. I'm so tired of pulling weeds only to see them return in a month! Any suggestions for a strong weed killer?

Have you considered suffocating the weeds instead? Covering the area with a dark tarp, cardboard, or thick mulch can block out sunlight and kill them off naturally. Plus, this method can help feed your soil once the weeds decompose, plus you won't have to use harsh chemicals! Just keeping the area covered will prevent new growth.
One great option is to use a pump sprayer with a concentrated weed killer. Just follow the label directions, but you might want to add 50% more concentrate than recommended. So if it says to mix 10oz in a gallon of water, try using 15oz instead. Spray it on a hot sunny day; the heat will help it soak in better. Just make sure there's no rain in the forecast for that day. You might need to apply it a second time depending on what's growing there.
Mixing brush killer with Roundup can be super effective if you want to tackle stubborn weeds. Just make sure to apply it carefully!

After about ten days, if you haven't had any rain, water the area well. This will help any hidden seeds germinate, and you can treat those with weed killer too.
