I'm tired of my 9-year-old Flymo making a mess of my lawn, even after I've replaced the blades. I'm looking for a reliable lawn mower that costs no more than £150. My garden is quite spacious, so I can't afford to go for the absolute cheapest options unless I want to spend forever mowing it. Any suggestions?

Just a heads up, avoid mowers with plastic blades if you're dealing with longer grass. They won't handle it well and will just end up mashing everything. Make sure to mow regularly to keep your lawn in check.
A second-hand Honda Izy is an excellent option! They’re sturdy enough for everyday use and can be found at a decent price on sites like Facebook Marketplace. Definitely worth checking out.
Have you considered a hand-push reel mower? They're really affordable—around £50—and they give a fantastic cut. Plus, you'll get a bit of a workout while you mow!
I switched to the battery version of a reel mower, and it's been a game changer! No cords to deal with, and it cuts great without the hassle.

Totally agree! The Izy is durable but still compact enough for home use. I’ve seen some great deals if you look hard enough.
