Hey everyone! I'm planning to set up a drip irrigation system for my garden, which has about 12 beds of various sizes, most standing around 1.5 feet high. I've got a sprinkler system and a dedicated zone for drip irrigation, but I'm keeping it simple and won't have individual control for each bed. This means that all my plants, like tomatoes and herbs, will get the same amount of water unless I lay down more drip hose. I'm wondering if this setup will work? Also, can I upgrade it in sections later on? I have most of the supplies ready, and I'm pretty sure it's just about cutting, warming, and connecting the hoses. Any thoughts, tips, or advice would be much appreciated!

You definitely should keep in mind that tomatoes typically need more water than herbs, so if you go with a single line, you might want to double up the line for the tomatoes. The goal is to deliver about an inch of water per week—more than most people realize! It's best to keep the tomatoes well-watered consistently, maybe daily or every other day to prevent issues like blossom end rot.
Honestly, I’ve just used the same watering method for different beds with no issue. Most plants need that standard inch of water a week, while herbs generally need less. Those herbs will manage fine with a basic setup!
