Is $2,000 a Fair Price for Plantation Shutter Painting?

I'm considering hiring a painter who quoted me $2,000 to paint plantation shutters in my home, but I'm unsure if that's a reasonable price. I live in Southern California and would love your thoughts on this. I've attached photos of my living room and two bedrooms for reference: https://imgur.com/gallery/NKsTAob. Any advice would be appreciated!

Honestly, it’s tough for anyone online to definitively say if that price is fair. I recommend you gather quotes from at least two other painters to compare prices. Spending a big amount like that requires looking at multiple options to ensure you're getting a good deal. It's a smart move!

How many shutters are we talking about? If it's just a few large ones, $2,000 might feel steep. But if you have a lot, it could make more sense. Don’t hesitate to ask the painter for a breakdown of the costs!

There are large ones in the living room and one big one in each of the two bedrooms. Here are some photos: https://imgur.com/gallery/KfTu1tg.
