I'm having a frustrating issue with my dryer—it won't dry clothes anymore! The drum spins, but there's no heat. I've already replaced the heating element, both the limit and cycle thermostats, the thermal cutoff switch, and the thermal fuse. The vent line is clear and only about 3 feet long from the dryer to the outside. I even bought a new dryer and plugged it in, but I ran into the same problem. Next, I checked the outlet, which tested fine with a meter, but I went ahead and replaced it anyway. Still nothing! What should I do now?

At this point, it could be a good idea to bring in an electrician. Your problems may not be related to the appliances themselves but could be rooted in your home's electrical system.
Just to clarify, is this for an electric dryer? It's odd that you've got two dryers with the same issue. If the outlet is indeed providing 240 volts, there might be something deeper at play.
If you're getting 120 volts on both legs to neutral and 240 volts across the two hot legs, I’d suggest replacing the breaker next. But be cautious! If there's something wrong inside your electrical system, just replacing the breaker might not solve the issue.
