I've just picked up an adapter kit for my older drill drivers that includes two DCB203 batteries and a DCB112 charger. However, I'm running into a problem where the batteries fit too loosely in the charger. They only charge if I hold them in place, and I've heard about the need to 'push it in until it clicks,' but that doesn't seem to apply here. Does anyone have some tips or suggestions on how to get these batteries charging properly?

I've used the same kit and didn’t face any issues. It can be tricky to get those batteries seated well. Try to make sure they really slide down into the charger; if needed, press the release button as you insert them. That usually helps with the fit because you can overcome the spring load a bit easier.
It sounds like you might need to clamp the batteries to keep them in good contact with the charger, right? It's odd that they don't click into place like they should. Have you tried sliding the batteries in and pressing the battery release button as you insert them? Sometimes that helps get a better fit because of the spring mechanism.
