I'm currently deciding between Duravit, Kohler, and Toto for wall hung toilets. While Duravit is more budget-friendly, I was initially advised to go with Toto, but their bidet models are quite pricey. I'm considering the following models: Duravit - 2226090092, Kohler - K-31539-0, and Toto - CT426CFG. I plan to get the corresponding tanks and actuators for all of them. My main concerns include cleanliness (like how well they handle waste), durability (long-lasting without maintenance issues), and longevity (I don't want to have to replace it anytime soon). Also, I want to avoid any potential expensive plumbing disasters with an in-wall toilet. An AI suggested that if I go with Duravit, I should get a Geberit Sigma 2x4 Carrier System or a Grohe Rapid SL Frame tank for easier maintenance since Duravit parts can be harder to find.

I've always recommended Kohler, but I understand they're on the pricier side. In terms of maintenance and water efficiency, they do hold up well. Just a heads up, you might find yourself spending more on repairs if you go with cheaper options later on. It's a tough call trying to balance upfront costs and long-term value.
I've had my Toto for 8 years and it's been fantastic! No issues at all and I get compliments on it all the time. I can't speak for the other brands, but my experience has been super positive with Toto. When I had floor-mounted Kohlers in my old house, they clogged weekly, but my three wall hung Totos have never caused any problems.
I felt the same about the Toto hype. It's definitely deserved, but I'm looking at more budget options for a second bathroom while splurging on Toto for my main one.

It's true! My previous Toto was floor-mounted and I never had any issues. Plus, their bidet seats are amazing—totally worth the investment!
