What’s the Average Cost for Kitchen and Bathroom Plumbing Work?

Hey everyone! I'm in the middle of a small kitchen and bathroom remodel. The work involves replacing two bathroom sinks, a toilet, a skirted tub, and a kitchen sink with disposal. I received a quote for $8,000, but this doesn't include the demolition or fixtures. Just wondering if this is considered normal pricing?

Are they relocating any plumbing, or is it all staying in the same spot? If it's just a straightforward replacement, I think that quote is on the high side—especially if everything's in the same place and you’re not dealing with any existing issues.

I’d recommend shopping around and getting at least two more quotes. When you do, don’t show them the first estimate. Just give them the same details about the job so they can come up with their own pricing!

It really depends on what they’re doing. If they’re replacing all visible piping, it might be worth it. However, if they’re just installing fixtures you already have, that quote seems pretty steep. You should definitely get more details and maybe a couple more estimates to compare.
