From my experience, bigger tiles are the way to go! They’re cheaper to install because there's less grout, which means less chance of it failing and they’re easier to clean. I’ll never go back to smaller tiles than 2' x 1' again!
I really wish I had checked my walls for bows before installing. It caused a lot of headaches during the laying process!
