I'm curious about the best way to tie up my Pothos plants on a support pole. Should I go for straight up or wrap them around the pole? I'm also interested in thoughts about having multiple vines on one pole to create a fuller appearance.

Wrapping my plants around the pole in a spiral is my favorite method. It looks really nice and gives them a chance to spread out, too!
I usually tie my Pothos to the pole using jute twine, wrapping it around until it can support itself. In my opinion, having more than one vine is the way to go! An uneven number like 3 or 5 looks best. I had three vines at first, but one didn't make it while the others shot up fast. I wish I had chosen a wider pole to support all of them better!
I prefer to have my Pothos go straight up the pole, but they end up leaning a bit. I have multiple plants growing around the pole. Sometimes I take cuttings and replant them so they're not all the same height, which adds a nice look!
