I'm considering buying a DeWalt DW745 table saw that I found on the marketplace for $200. It's supposed to be in good condition, but I'm curious if others have experience with this saw. As a beginner who isn't doing super advanced projects yet, do you think it's a solid choice?

The DW745 is actually a solid job site saw! I started out with a Bosch model, but I've come to really prefer the DeWalt. It's lightweight and portable, perfect for beginners like you.
I've been using my DW745 for about five years now. It's a decent saw for most projects, but I have to warn you that it struggles a bit with dense hardwoods. Also, if you're after better dust collection, you might find it lacking. I often run it outdoors just to avoid the mess!

I can relate! I love my DW745 but the dust collection is a real headache. The blade guard attachment doesn’t fit any hoses I've tried.
