I recently stained a kitchen cabinet, but now the color is way too red for my taste. I'm wondering if using Bona Red Out will help me adjust the color after the stain has already been applied. If not, does anyone have other suggestions to fix this?

If Bona Red Out doesn't do the trick, you could try mixing in a little bit of a more neutral color stain over the top. Alternatively, sanding lightly and applying a new coat might also help to blend it better. Just keep in mind that these methods might change the finish slightly, so you might need to re-seal afterward.
Bona Red Out can actually work pretty well to tone down the red in your stain, but results can vary based on the wood type and the stain you used. Just make sure to follow the directions carefully for the best outcome. You might also consider doing a test spot first to see how it reacts before applying it to your whole cabinet. Good luck!
Yeah, definitely test it first! I had a similar issue once and ended up with a totally unexpected shade when I didn't.

Great point! I had to sand down a bit on my last project when I hated the red tone too. Just be careful not to overdo it!
