I have a cabinet with a broken shelf that I'd like to replace, but I'm not sure if it's possible to do this without taking apart the entire cabinet. The shelf has screws that are sticking out from the wall, and their heads are hidden, making it tricky to just unscrew them. Is there a way to swap out the shelf without a full teardown?

You could use a power drill for that, but it might not turn out as neat or precise. Still, if it’s hidden inside the cabinet, it’s not a big deal if it’s a little rough!
You can definitely remove the broken shelf and get a custom-cut replacement. Just break out the old shelf and use the existing screws as support pins for the new one. It'll sit right on top!
If you're feeling a bit creative, and you have a router, you can cut shallow grooves in the new shelf so the screws fit in neatly. This way, the screws won't be visible at all!
