It hasn't rained properly in Hertfordshire for ages, and I'm starting to wonder if we're heading towards a hosepipe ban and drought situation. What do you all think?

Honestly, even if it rains a bit, I'd bet we'll still see a hosepipe ban. But hey, at least the water companies won't be able to use heavy rain as an excuse for sewage dumping this time around, right?
I definitely think a hosepipe ban is coming for a lot of southern areas, including Hertfordshire. It's been pretty dry for about 2-3 months now! I follow a farming podcast that talks a lot about this kind of stuff, and their pond is completely empty right now, which just goes to show how serious it's getting.
Right?! It's been so dry, they better not use that excuse this year!
