I've got a ton of trees around my house, and as a result, moss is taking over certain areas of my roof. I can safely reach some spots to broom it off and use those dry powder treatments that are supposed to kill moss over time. However, my main roof is too steep for me to get up there safely. Are there any products I can use that work from ground level? Ideally, something I can attach to my garden hose to spray upward onto the roof and eliminate that moss to help prolong the life of my shingles? Unfortunately, hiring professionals isn't in my budget right now.

You should definitely check out Wet and Forget! It's a popular option for killing moss, and you can find it online or at places like Costco, where they usually have the spray attachment included. Just remember to follow the instructions carefully!
Works great! Just a heads-up, though: the runoff can harm your plants, so make sure to water them first before applying.
Bleaching powder can also do the trick! Just mix it with water and spray it on the affected areas. Just be careful about the runoff, as it might harm neighboring plants.
Another effective option is using copper sulfate. Just mix it up into a spray solution, and you can find the supplies at any hardware store. It works wonders against moss!

Whoa bingo! This is exactly the kind of thing I was hoping to find. Thank you!
