Hey everyone! I recently made the switch from DeWalt to Milwaukee and picked up an M18 drill/driver, a blower, and an M18 Fuel oscillator. Now, I'm eyeing the M12 Fuel 4-in-1 drill/driver kit that's on sale for about $114. Is it a good addition to my tool collection, or am I just caught up in the excitement of my new tools? I know there's also a similar deal on a combo set with two M12 Fuel tools, but I'm trying to figure out if the 4-in-1 would actually be useful for smaller jobs where I wouldn't want to lug around my M18. For context, here's my current setup: an M18 combo kit and an M18 Fuel oscillating multi-tool. I'm really interested in your thoughts!

I’ve got the M18 combo and both the M12 4-in-1 and the M12 combo. Honestly, if you do light repairs, the portability of the M12 line is a huge win. The 4-in-1 has been invaluable for tricky spaces, but keep in mind it may not have the same power as the M12 drill. If you're often working in tight spots or doing cabinetry, it could be useful, but otherwise, I’d suggest going for the M12 combo first for the extra power. I normally save my M18 tools for heavier jobs, which makes my M12 a great go-to for day-to-day tasks.

Thanks for the insight! It sounds like I might just sit tight for a while and focus on different tools instead of another compact version. I mostly work on general repairs and basic woodworking.
