Hey everyone! I'm looking to surprise my little sister with a toolbox full of essentials to help her settle into her new home. I'm thinking about including around 15-20 tools—does that sound good for covering the basics? What would you recommend I include? Thanks a lot!

Don’t forget to throw in some standard screws, nails, and finishing nails! They’re the little things that can really make a home repair go smoother.
I'd kick things off with some must-haves: a battery-powered drill (make sure to include bits!), needle nose and standard pliers, a hammer, a measuring tape, and a speed square. Don't forget a utility knife with extra blades and a stud finder (but don't cheap out on that one). I'd say a set of screwdrivers (both Phillips and flathead) and a set of wrenches are essential too. Depending on what she plans to do—like build or renovate—she might want to adjust her tools later on!
I’d probably skip the socket wrenches and grab channel locks and vice grips instead. Much more versatile!
I’d also suggest an impact driver instead of just a drill. It’s better for driving screws, making life easier! Plus, a good quality stud finder can make a big difference.

Thanks for the tip! I'll definitely grab some essentials like those nails before I finish the toolbox.
