I'm curious about the best practices for disposing of rags and rubber gloves that have been used with boiled linseed oil. I've done some research, but I haven't found much information on how to properly handle the gloves during disposal. What methods do people use to ensure safe disposal and prevent any risk of combustion? Any tips would be appreciated!

Honestly, there's a lot of hype around the dangers of spontaneous combustion, but it needs a perfect storm of conditions to actually happen. I’d suggest just spreading out your rags and gloves away from sunlight. I wouldn’t stress too much about it; you should be fine if you keep them out of direct heat.
