Hey everyone! After doing a lot of research, I realized I'm one of the few who really prefers hard molded cases for my tools instead of those yellow zipper bags. I'm considering upgrading my old Dewalt 18V NiCd drill and impact driver to a newer 20V Lithium setup, especially since I'm down to just one working 18V battery. I was wondering if there are any other hard case enthusiasts here with a DCF860? I tend to like Dewalt products, but I haven't found much online for hard cases available in the USA, unlike in Europe. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

I recently upgraded from an 18V NiCad setup to the DCF860, and I gotta say, you won't regret it! The performance is leaps and bounds better. Plus, here's a pic of my setup! [link to image]
If you're considering options, the tough system cases or TSTAK could be really handy, and you can add shadow foam inserts to customize them to fit your tools perfectly.
I don't think you're in the minority at all! Not every tool needs its own case, but having a few hard cases definitely helps keep things organized and protected. It's worth looking into.

Nice setup! I just upgraded too, and I totally agree—it makes all the tasks quicker and easier. Love it!
