Looking for Affordable Options to Replace My Kitchen Countertops

Hey everyone! My kitchen countertops are looking pretty rough. Although I'm planning a full renovation in the next five years, I want to spruce them up for now without breaking the bank. I've already tried some peel and stick options on the island, but I'm not pleased with the results. I'm willing to spend a few hundred dollars to replace the countertops, but the longest stretch I need is just over 10 feet, and I'm struggling to find big box store options that can accommodate that without a big, noticeable seam. Has anyone faced a similar challenge? Any alternatives or suggestions you think I might be missing?

You might want to reach out to a countertop supplier—they often have leftover pieces at a discount. Also, I've heard about countertop paint options, but I'm not really sure how effective those are.

I checked out some Rust-Oleum kits, but from what I've gathered, they can be pretty messy and not worth the hassle. The cost is nearly as much as just replacing the laminate.
