Honestly, I think it sounds like a fun experience! Sometimes these events can lead to cool interactions, especially if you're in the market for tools. I attended a tool demo day and ended up walking away with two free 5.0 batteries just for chatting with the rep. If you're planning to buy some tools, it's definitely worth checking out. But if you're not close by or don’t have anything to purchase, I'd skip it.
