I'm really excited to have gotten an Alocasia Polly, but I've heard mixed things about how hard they are to take care of. I want to make sure I give it the best care possible, especially since I've noticed that anthuriums can be quite pricey online and hard to find locally. I'm hoping to achieve those beautiful, veiny leaves! Am I making a big mistake?

It’s great that you got an Alocasia Polly! They actually love bright, indirect sunlight, so finding a spot with good light can really help them thrive. Just be careful not to put them in direct sun for too long as it can scorch the leaves! Also, keep an eye on the watering – they like to stay moist but not soggy. You got this!
If you're looking for more affordable options, check out places like Steve's Leaves or Peace, Love, and Happiness Club. I've found smaller, yet healthy plants at reasonable prices there, and it's fun to watch them grow. My personal favorite is Famous in Oregon – great quality!
Thanks for the tips! I actually just bought a 2-inch pot today. Can't wait to see how it does!

That's awesome! I think you'll see some new growth soon, just give it the right care!
